The Bridges Program is a group therapy setting that children participate in prior to or during their enrollment into school. A focus throughout this program is to introduce SEL, otherwise known as Social-Emotional Learning. SEL refers to the development of self-awareness, self-control, self-regulation, and responsible decision-making, all of which are essential for school and life successes.
Self Awareness
Self-Control
Self-Regluation
Responsible Decision Making
This program is specifically designed to meet the treatment needs of elementary school-aged children who demonstrate a strong likelihood of being able to be mainstreamed into a typical classroom with minimal to no special education supports. Children will be grouped with others who are socially appropriate.
From seasonal to after-school program options, the Bridges Program looks a little different at each center based on the unique needs of that location.
