Behavior Therapist

This position will provide direct therapy to clients by following program plans, documenting therapy services, and participating in meetings as needed.

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, communication and speech disorders, or a related field
  • Possess a strong desire to work with children with autism
  • Have effective oral and written communication skills
  • Be a self-starter
  • Have the ability to work independently and multi-task

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children with autism
  • Previous ABA therapy experience
  • Knowledge in the field of autism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mental Health Practitioner status

Behavior Therapist Aide

This position will provide direct therapy to clients by following program plans, documenting therapy services, and participating in meetings as needed.

Through our paid training program, you will be equipped with the skills needed to apply ABA techniques to implement targeted curriculum with a variety of teaching techniques.  Clinical staff will provide you with supervision, ongoing coaching, and professional development opportunities as you accumulate your clinical/supervision hours.

Required Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma
  • Possess a strong desire to work with children
  • Have effective oral and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and multi-task

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations

Behavior Therapist Internship

At Partners, we are currently seeking individuals who have those same beliefs to provide one-on-one therapy to young children with autism. This position is responsible for providing direct therapy to clients by following treatment plans, documenting therapy services, and collaborating with a team to achieve the best possible outcomes. Partners is also on the cutting edge with staff development as we are now offering credentialing for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to our therapy staff, along with ongoing training, supervision, and support to becoming a Mental Health Practitioner (MHP).

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children with autism
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy work experience and/or knowledge in the field of autism
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certified
  • Behavior Analyst Certification Board Credential (RBT, BCaBA, or BCBA)
  • Mental Health Practitioner status

Status: Part-time Internship, Monday – Friday, 1PM – 5PM

Location: La Crosse, WI

Lead Behavior Therapist

Partners is looking for experienced Mental Health Practitioners to join our team at one of three locations (Burnsville, Minnetonka, or North St. Paul).

Join us as a Lead Behavior Therapist and be a part of an amazing team dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism through providing early intensive therapies to children ages 1 to 10 years old. Our top notch staff hold degrees in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, education, and communication disorders. Through our paid training program, you will be equipped with the skills needed to apply ABA techniques to implement targeted curriculum with a variety of teaching techniques. Clinical staff will provide you with supervision, ongoing coaching, and professional development opportunities as you accumulate your clinical/supervision hours.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science or a related field
  • Over 2,000 hours of experience providing clinical services to children with autism

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Behavioral Science or a related field
  • Over 4,000 hours of experience providing clinical services to children with autism
  • Previous experience as a Lead Behavior Therapist
  • Ability to speak Spanish or Somali
