Current Positions

Medical Billing Specialist

This individual manages and maintains Partners In Excellence full cycle billing and accounts receivable. It is essential to possess good judgment, have excellent problem solving skills, and be flexible as job responsibilities and priorities are presented. This position must be able to manage many concurrent assignments, be very organized and be able to work in a fast pace environment. This position requires the individual to be very detailed orientated and have good customer service and communication skills. This position holds strict standards in confidentiality and requires strong professional office skills. Maintain a positive, professional and pleasant attitude as you work with various levels of the organization and represent Partners In Excellence over the phone. Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Enter, verify, send and receive billing files using EZ Claims, Availity, Zirmed, and various insurance sites.
  • Review/run billing sheets
  • Keep client files and billing sheet filing current
  • Reconcile billing issues- research and investigate claims which are not being paid (i.e. aged over 60 days or more) and be persistent until claim issue is resolved for Partners
  • Audit and maintain accuracy of therapist’s documentation and processes to ensure that Partners has appropriate documentation to bill for services rendered
  • Back-up for accounts receivable to ensure payments are received, recorded, balanced and overdue collections are made
  • Follow specific policy and procedure regarding write offs
  • Conducts benefit checks for clients
  • Enter benefit information in Client Management System
  • Maintain current position binder
  • Maintain websites for insurance companies
  • Maintain contact for insurance company questions and disputes for Partners
  • Set up new client s in EZ-Claims
  • Ensure security for document control and electronic and paper files. This is necessary to protect the privacy of individuals, including company business and financial matters
  • Provides a weekly status report to appropriate staff
  • Send records to insurance companies when requested
  • Scan, upload, and enter prior authorization (PA) information into EZ Claims and spreadsheets
  • Scan and upload treatment plans, physicians orders, PA status into CMS
  • Scan and verify deposits and then upload into the server
  • Send out secondary billing
  • Upload prior authorizations and referrals as needed. Make a copy for billing.
  • Back up to front desk/ admin staff
Qualifications and Skills

Desired Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • One-three years of experience in medical billing
  • Previous experience working with insurance company billing
  • Previous experience working with EZ-Claims and Zirmed

Behavior Therapist-MHP

Join us as a Behavior Therapist-MHP and be a part of an amazing team, dedicated to improving the lives of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through providing early intensive therapies to children ages 1 to 10 years old. Our top notch staff holds degrees in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, education, and communication disorders. Through our paid training program, you will be equipped with the skills needed to apply ABA techniques to implement targeted curriculum with a variety of teaching techniques. Clinical staff will provide you with supervision, ongoing coaching, and professional development opportunities as you accumulate your clinical/supervision hours. We require candidates to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field plus at least one year of experience with a pediatric population
We prefer candidates to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field
  • At least one year of clinical experience with a pediatric population
