Presented by: Alicia Moore—State Advocacy Chair for Autism Speaks and the parent of a child with autism, Eric Larsson, Ph.D., L.P., B.C.B.A.-D.—Executive Director of Clinical Services at the Lovaas Institute, and Pam Hoffman—mom of a current Partners in Excellence client and parent advocate for insurance reform.
How are you doing with navigating all the changes that took place in 2013 with autism insurance reform? Does the talk of MCHA, their transition plan, and the highly anticipated Autism Report by the Commerce Department have your anxiety levels on high? Are you feeling that more changes are needed for your child and the autism community and want to know how to become an advocate for change? If so, please join us on October 9th for an open discussion with experts in this area that are eager to be your guide through these changes.
We encourage you to bring your questions and any sample letters you have drafted that would help others make steps towards being an advocate for their child. We all have had experiences that we can all learn from and look forward to hearing from you. And don’t forget… we have come a long ways in MN in 2013 and this is also a great time to celebrate our progress!
